The Queen's Medical Center's Social Work Department provides social work intervention and treatment during a patient's hospital stay. The department also helps coordinate the discharge planning process.

Services of Queen's Social Work Department include:

• Consultations for Patient and Family
• Psychological Needs
• Community Resource Linkage/Placement
• MSW Graduate Practicum Training Program

The Social Work staff works with patients, their family members, and their health care team to coordinate and facilitate treatment throughout the hospital stay and eventual discharge to the community.
