Outpatient Pharmacy Services

The Queen's Medical Center Outpatient Pharmacy services patients and employees of the Queen's Medical Center. Prescriptions are filled for patients going home from the hospital, patients seen by the Emergency Department, The Queen Emma Clinics, and other clinics located on the medical center grounds. Queen’s Outpatient Pharmacy is located between the Pauahi and Kinau wings in the beautifully renovated Nalani 1 wing of the hospital.

The Outpatient Pharmacy window is open daily. Mondays through Fridays, the hours are 7:30am to 6:00pm. On Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays, the hours are from 7:30am to 4pm. Discharge and emergency department prescriptions are processed 24 hours a day. Please be sure to have your health insurance card with you when picking up medications. (BE CAREFUL not to confuse Queen’s Outpatient Pharmacy with the Physicians Office Building I and II pharmacies.)

Refills can be telephoned into the pharmacy one or two days in advance to avoid long wait times. You’ll find the telephone number on the medication label. Be ready to provide the pharmacy staff with your name and prescription number, which you will find on the left side of the label. Always check to see if you still have any refills remaining by looking at the bottom right corner of the medication label. If there are no refills noted, you will need to have your physician write another prescription before it can be filled. It's important to refill your prescriptions before you run out of medications, however, do not request refillsuntil you have less than a one week supply remaining. Most drug plans do not allow pharmacies to refill a prescription too early.

The staff of Queen’s Outpatient Pharmacy looks forward to serving you in the future and thanks those who have been loyal customers.

Monday thru Friday:
8:00am to 4:30pm
