Neurointerventional Surgery

Neurointerventional surgery at The Queen's Medical Center is conducted by a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses and technologists in neuroradiology, neurosurgery, neurology and emergency medicine. We work collaboratively to assess, educate, diagnose and treat each patient, delivering individualized care with the safest and most effective outcomes. Comprehensive treatment plans address the full spectrum of brain disorders and may indicate a combination of endovascular and traditional surgical approaches.

Led by a fellowship-trained neurointerventionalist, who specializes in vascular disorders of the brain and spine, guided by state-of-the-art imaging and using the latest minimally invasive techniques allows us to treat the most complex cerebral vascular diseases, including:

  • Stroke
  • Atherosclerosis of the intracranial and extracranial circulation
  • Arteriovenous malformations
  • Fistulas
  • Tumors
  • Aneurysms
