JOB TITLE: Staff Nurse
Qualifications:
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Hawaii State Licensure.
- Knowledge of Acute/Geriatric/OB nursing practices as well as new trends and techniques in nursing.
- Ability to provide quality nursing care to resident/patient of all ages in times of emergent situations and to communicate effectively to patients and their families and staff.
- Current CPR certification required.
- ACLS and NALS certification required. Within six (6) months of employment.
- PALS certification preferred.
- Previous experience in Med-Surg/Geriatrics and OB nursing or completion of four (4) weeks orientation to include area of nursing.
COMMENTS: Molokai General Hospital, a Queen’s Health System Company, is looking for a Registered Nurse interested in rural health to work 36 hours a week on a rotating schedule. JOB TITLE: Certified Medical Coder
Qualifications:
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Certification as a Medical Coder.
- Typing ability of fifty (50) WPM.
- Computer literacy.
- Able to effectively communicate with the public in person or on the phone.
