Do You Know What This Symbol Means?

NCCCP LogoThis is the symbol for the National Cancer Institute Community Cancer Care Programs or NCCCP. The program's purpose is to support community cancer center's across the country to expand research, clinical trials, and state-of-the art cancer care, especially in minority and underserved populations. This is the most important designation for community cancer center programs in the United States.

The Queen's Medical Center has been selected as one of only 30 cancer center programs in America to be a participating site in this program, and is the only selected cancer center in Hawaii. What this means to our community is that The Queen’s Medical Center's Cancer Center will have access to the resources of the future of cancer care.

Only the Queen's Cancer Center Program can offer Hawaii the quality of cancer care as set forth by the National Cancer Institute's NCCCP, right here in our island home. For more information on NCCCP, call 808.691.8778 or check out The Queen's Cancer Center's website at queenscancercenter.org or the NCCCP website at ncccp.cancer.gov.
