Queen Emma Clinics
Additional Information for Patients

Providers
Your health care provider will most often be a doctor associated with the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. Some of these doctors are resident physicians, or licensed doctors who are receiving specialized training. The resident physicians are supervised by specialists who are faculty members in the School of Medicine. Certified sub-specialists provide supervision and care for those requiring highly specialized care.

Other providers on the QEC team include: nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers and trainees who are supervised by licensed professionals. This team approach means that you receive care from a variety of professionals who are experts in their fields.
