Critically Needed Positions: Relocation Incentive
It is the policy of The Queen's Medical Center to maintain a staff of competent, qualified employees to deliver quality patient care and other services provided by the Medical Center. When the Medical Center experiences difficulty in filling specific position vacancies, the position may be declared a "critically needed position."

- Cardio/Vascular Sonographer
- Clinical Nurse Specialist
- Clinical Pharmacist
- Diagnostic/Medical Sonographer
- Dosimetrist
- Health Information Coder/Abstractor
- Mammography Technologist
- Medical Physicist
- Occupational Therapist
- Pathology Assistant
- Physical Therapist
- Radiation Therapist
- Registered Nurse
- Respiratory Therapist
- Speech Language Pathologist
- Surgical Assistant (certified)
- Surgical Technologist (experienced)
Relocation Incentive
The Queen's Medical Center offers a competitive relocation incentive for Critically Needed Positions relocating from out of state. The package includes a $5000.00 relocation allowance as well as temporary housing for the first 30 days in Honolulu. Critically needed hires from the neighbor islands are eligible for a $1250.00 relocation allowance. The relocation allowance is based on a commitment of 18 months in a position of 36 hours per week or greater.
Call-in Pay Differential
Interested in picking up extra hours? The Queen's Medical Center now offers an extra $2.50 per hour for call-in employees working in Critically Needed Positions.
