Daniel Chan, MD
Dr. Daniel Chan joined The Queen’s Medical Center-West O‘ahu in 2017. As a general gastroenterologist, his interests and expertise span the entire gastrointestinal tract.
Dr. Chan treats conditions including: gastrointestinal bleeding, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Barrett’s Esophagus, esophagitis, dysphagia, Celiac disease, gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, C. difficile infection, diarrhea, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), as well as diseases of the liver and pancreas. He performs procedures such as colonoscopy (colon cancer screening), upper endoscopy (EGD), esophageal pH studies, and video capsule endoscopy.
Dr. Chan currently holds membership in the American Gastroenterological Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He also completed the Clinician Investigator Training Program at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., researching new methods to screen for gastrointestinal cancer and diseases.
