QMC and the University of Hawai‘i Cancer Center (UHCC) were awarded a $3.75 million grant over five years to become a member of the minority-based NCORP. QMC is one of only 12 hospitals nationwide chosen to participate in this prestigious program. UHCC and its consortium hospitals, along with community oncology providers, will continue their work on clinical trial accruals via the minority-based Community Clinical Oncology Program (CCOP). The NCI has also unveiled plans to incorporate CCDR into its national research efforts.
